Francis is a founder / entrepreneur, investor and enabler / mentor in the Asian tech startup scene. He’s built successful startups such as WhenInManila.com (one of the largest lifestyle brand and online magazine in the Philippines), Blogapalooza (The oldest and largest Influencer Marketing Agency), and Social Light (Providing connectivity in low income communities) from bootstrapping to a venture backed startup, from starting up to exit, and mergers and acquisition, he’s done the full circle as a founder / entrepreneur.

As an Operator / Venture Builder, he has been an Entrepreneur in Residence at 917Ventures where he ideated, built, operated and fund-raised for 18 companies in 18 months across 7 verticals. He also led India’s largest Venture Builder, Favcy Venture Builders where he led the whole Venture Builder that has built more than 14 Portfolio companies.

As an investor, he has angel invested in a few startups, started his own fund called Original Pitch Venture Capital that invested in early stage startups, and have helped VC firms in the region as a venture partner to source deals and understand more about the Philippines scene.

As a way to give back to the Philippines tech community, he started Techtonic Summit (Largest Tech Conference in the Philippines with 10,000 attendees) and was a mentor in different accelerators such as Orbit Startups and Meta Community Accelerator.
