Nathanael currently serves as co-founder and chief strategy officer of Avium, a venture-capital backed Web3 venture studio building the Web3 Steam for games and media. He is also a partner of Paladyn Group, which has angel invested in and advised numerous startups and companies in the tech industry, providing expertise in corporate governance, structuring and market entry into Asia.
Prior to this, Nathanael was an international law firm partner specialising in working with companies in the technology sector focusing on mergers and acquisitions. He has advised venture capital funds, technology companies and startups globally, working on M&A and fundraising deals, as well as digital asset token raises amounting to a total deal portfolio of over US$1b.
With over 10 years of experience working with and advising prominent global companies such as Cathay Pacific, Airbus, Modelez, Binance, Huobi, LooksRare, Facebook (now Meta), Razer and the Global Esports Federation, Nathanael is highly sought after for his expertise in how businesses can adopt new technologies in the blockchain, fintech and web3 industry, while navigating a nascent and often complex regulatory and deal structuring landscape.
Nathanael is an early (and honestly, initially skeptical) investor in Bitcoin and Ethereum, and is also a limited partner in various venture capital funds investing in early-stage startups. He is a highly regarded speaker on his topics of expertise, having delivered expert addresses on technology and Web3 at major conferences around the world, including All That Matters, the Global Forum for Intellectual Property, and at the American Chamber of Commerce.
